Cordelia is a female Pembroke Welsh corgi. She is so intelligent and keen to figure things out. While she can be a bit bossy and nosy, she just wants everyone to be happy, orderly, and get along. Confident and curious, she is always up for anything, whether it be a long hike, a training session, or just a lazy afternoon nap. She loves making new friends, be they dogs or people, but at the end of the day she craves quiet time, just the two of us, to recharge.

What more can I say? She’s the happiest, most vibrant little dog. She inspires me every day to seek adventure and enjoy the sparkling little moments.

Delia was bred by Tina of Outlands Corgis, who has been an amazing support and educator. I admire her ethics and goals, and am in awe of her wealth of knowledge when it comes to breeding, genetics, and how corgis think. Highly recommend her.

I have always shared my life with dogs and enjoyed reading and learning all that I could about them. I am a Certified Canine Behavior Counselor through the Academy of Dog Behavior, a Licensed Family Dog Mediator (FDM) and a member of the IAABC. I don’t consider myself an expert in anything; each new thing I learn makes me more aware of how much I still don’t know. Learn more about my training here.

In addition to blogging and working with Delia, I also enjoy travelling, hiking, researching, reading, writing, and always learning. Occasionally I work on my baby of a historical fiction novel which I will likely never finish.

With this blog, I hope to share stories, educate where I can, and chronicle the journey Delia and I are taking together.
